Their lead asset, PIPE-791, is a novel small molecule antagonist of the lysophosphatidic acid 1 receptor (LPA1R), designed to penetrate the brain and target conditions such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), progressive multiple sclerosis (Progressive MS), and chronic pain.
