Neogap Therapeutics is pioneering advancements in personalized cancer therapy through its innovative pTTL (Personalised Tumour Trained Lymphocytes) cell therapy, which is currently undergoing clinical trials. This approach utilizes the patient's own immune cells to create a tailored treatment that specifically targets and eliminates cancer cells, thereby minimizing side effects typically associated with conventional therapies. Central to this technology are two proprietary tools: PIOR® and EpiTCer®. The PIOR® software employs advanced machine learning and bioinformatics to identify and prioritize the most relevant neoantigens—mutations unique to the patient's tumor—ensuring that the therapy is both precise and effective.

The EpiTCer® technology complements the PIOR® software by facilitating the activation and multiplication of T-cells that target the identified neoantigens. Once the neoantigens are selected, they are synthesized and attached to magnetic microbeads, forming EpiTCer® beads. These beads are efficiently taken up by antigen-presenting cells (APCs), which process the neoantigens and present them to T-cells, effectively instructing them on which cancer cells to attack. This dual approach not only enhances the specificity of the immune response but also significantly boosts the number of activated T-cells available for infusion back into the patient, thereby launching a targeted assault on the tumor.
