Therabest is at the forefront of developing innovative immunotherapies, particularly focusing on allogeneic cell therapies derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Their flagship product, TB-100, utilizes Enhanced iPSC-derived NK (EiNK) cells, which are engineered to generate an unlimited supply of gene-edited NK cells from a single iPSC. This technology allows for the mass production of uniform NK cells that can effectively target and eliminate heterogeneous cancer cells, addressing challenges such as batch-to-batch variability and the risks associated with traditional cell therapies. The EiNK platform is designed to enhance the cytotoxicity, specificity, and persistency of NK cells, making it a promising alternative for treating solid tumors, including triple-negative breast cancer.

In addition to their NK cell therapies, Therabest is also exploring the combination of their iPSC-derived products with next-generation biologics, such as Glycotope’s immuno-cytokine GT-00AxIL15. This collaboration aims to improve the therapeutic efficacy of NK cell treatments by utilizing tumor-targeted approaches that activate immune cells directly at the tumor site.
