Licensing Western products to sell in Asia

Solasia Pharma focuses on developing innovative therapies to address significant medical needs in oncology, particularly in the Asian market. One of their key products, Sancuso® (SP-01), is an extended-release transdermal patch that delivers granisetron, a 5-HT3 receptor antagonist, to prevent chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV). This unique delivery system is particularly advantageous for patients who may struggle to swallow medications due to nausea or mucositis, providing a steady release of the medication over several days. Sancuso® has received regulatory approvals in multiple countries, including the U.S. and China, and is recognized as the first transdermal patch of its kind for this indication.

In addition to Sancuso®, Solasia is advancing other products in its pipeline, such as DARVIAS® (SP-02) for peripheral T-cell lymphoma and episil® oral liquid (SP-03) for pain associated with oral mucositis. DARVIAS® has been launched in Japan and is undergoing further development for additional indications, while episil® has been made available in Japan and other regions. The company is also exploring new therapies for chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy and colorectal cancer, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for cancer patients through innovative treatment options.
