Cytuvax has developed innovative vaccination technologies targeting both Hepatitis B and cancer. The HBAI20 vaccine is specifically designed for individuals who do not respond to standard Hepatitis B vaccinations, which typically protect about 95% of the population. This vaccine combines a standard HBV vaccine with an AI20 adjuvant that enhances immune system stimulation, potentially offering faster protection and requiring fewer vaccinations. The Phase 2 BE RESPONDER! clinical study has been completed to assess the immunogenicity and safety of this vaccine, addressing a significant health issue, particularly in regions with high rates of chronic HBV infection.

In addition to its work on Hepatitis B, Cytuvax has created a novel cancer vaccination platform that utilizes depot-attached cytokines as adjuvants alongside irradiated autologous tumor cells. This technology enhances the presentation of antigens to dendritic cells, leading to a robust activation of immune 'killer' cells. The unique mechanism involves the direct delivery of cytokine aggregates to lymph nodes, stimulating a powerful immune response against tumors. This platform is versatile, applicable to various cytokines and tumor types, and has shown promising results in preclinical studies across multiple cancer models.
