Additionally, Imugene is advancing the oncolytic virus technology through their candidate CF33, which selectively targets and destroys cancer cells while sparing healthy tissue. This virus is engineered to express the CD19 antigen on cancer cells, enhancing the effectiveness of CAR T cell responses against solid tumors.

Another significant aspect of Imugene's pipeline includes B-cell immunotherapies, such as PD1-Vaxx and HER-Vaxx. PD1-Vaxx aims to stimulate the immune system to produce antibodies that inhibit PD-1 signaling, potentially mimicking the effects of established immune checkpoint inhibitors.
