Avidicure is at the forefront of developing a novel class of dual agonistic, multifunctional antibodies known as "AVC-Boosters." These antibodies are engineered to enhance the immune system's response specifically within the tumor microenvironment, thereby promoting targeted and effective monotherapy for various cancers. The AVC-Boosters utilize a proprietary platform that combines a clinically validated antibody scaffold with two co-stimulatory domains, which are genetically fused to trigger unique dual agonism. This design allows for the selective stimulation of immune responses, enhancing the proliferation and functionality of innate immune cells in the tumor while minimizing toxicity risks. The platform's flexibility enables rapid adaptation for targeting different antigens, making it a versatile tool for developing first-in-class therapeutic products.

The mode of action of AVC-Boosters is particularly innovative, as the co-stimulatory domains are engineered to function exclusively within the immunological synapse formed between immune cells and tumor cells. This localized activation leads to the proliferation of immune cells that become hyperfunctional and resilient against the tumor's harsh environment. As a result, these immune cells exhibit enhanced capabilities in antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and overall immune surveillance, effectively transforming "cold" tumors into "hot" ones. Avidicure's lead product, AVC-S-101, targets TROP2 and is being developed for non-small cell lung cancer, showcasing the broad therapeutic potential of the AVC-Booster platform across various solid tumors and hematologic cancers.
