About: A multi-award winning Irish company innovating in women's health.
Nua Surgical was developed out of BioInnovate Ireland and is dedicated to innovating in Women's Health. The team are currently pursuing solutions to unmet clinical needs in obstetric surgery. In 2018, the founding team secured a 2 year Research and Commercialisation Grant from Enterprise Ireland to develop the SteriCISION C-Section Retractor at the University of Galway.

- Our founding team were awarded an Enterprise Ireland Commercialisation Fund to bring the project from early stage concept to commercialisation. ย This was based at the University of Galway.
