Engineered mammalian cell lines and transfection methods for vastly improved therapeutic protein production and sialylation

CHO Plus has developed innovative technologies aimed at enhancing the production of therapeutic proteins and viruses through the genetic engineering of mammalian cells. Their patented methods have led to the creation of CHO (Chinese Hamster Ovary) cells that exhibit up to a 10-fold increase in protein productivity compared to standard parent cells, achieving notable results such as 13.5 g/l of monoclonal antibodies in shake flasks. Additionally, CHO Plus has engineered HEK-293 cells that demonstrate over a 15-fold improvement in adeno-associated virus (AAV) productivity, with a significant percentage of full capsids.
